Three former coaches at the University of Minnesota-Duluth will hold a news conference Monday concerning their gender-discrimination claims against the school.
The conference was announced in an email from Eden Prairie law firm Fafinski, Mark & Johnson.
Shannon Miller, the Bulldogs' national-title-winning hockey coach, was let go after last season, as were softball coach Jen Banford and basketball coach Annette Wiles.
UMD athletics director Josh Berlo said in February the decision not to renew Miller's contract was financial and that "gender played no role whatsoever in the decision." That was later echoed by chancellor Lendley Black.
