Some acclaimed Minnesota alums, like hall-of-famer Carl Eller, paid the young Gophers a visit, at TCF Bank Stadium.
Current Gophers head coach Jerry Kill invites former alums to campus each year, to speak with incoming freshmen and to enlighten them on the program's history and representing Minnesota.
