College hockey: UMN women roll as Brad Frost sets record for coaching wins

The line of Sarah Potomak, Dani Cameranesi and Hannah Brandt contributed four goals and eight assists in Minnesota's 7-0 rout over St. Cloud State on Friday in St. Cloud, Minn.

It was the eighth shutout of the season for the Gophers (21-3-0, 16-3-0 WCHA). They also blanked the Huskies 7-0 on Dec. 11 in the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game at the Roseville Skating Center.

With the win, coach Brad Frost surpassed Laura Halldorson as the most-winning coach in Gophers women's hockey history. Frost's record at Minnesota is 279-44-21, while Halldorson posted a record of 278-67-22 from 1997-98 to 2006-07.
