NEW ORLEANS -- All-Star Anthony Davis, making his return to the Pelicans lineup after missing nine games with a finger injury, was featured prominently on the scoreboard in the middle of the team picture when New Orleans first came out of the tunnel for Friday night's game against the Timberwolves.
Last week, following his trade request from the Pelicans, Davis had been removed from the team's pregame video.
When Davis' individual picture came up on the scoreboard Friday, he was cheered by a sparse crowd at Smoothie King Center.
