The Wisconsin Herd’s struggling start to the 2018-19 G League season extended into Wednesday night as they fell to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in Menominee Nation Arena, losing 122-115.
Sporting both Sterling Brown and Christian Wood in the starting lineup, who were both on assignment from the Milwaukee Bucks, the Herd battled the Mad Ants and traded buckets back and forth with one another, all of which led to them being tied at 23 after one.
The opening minutes of the second period saw the game ground down to a halt as both Fort Wayne and Wisconsin endured through respective scoring droughts until the seven-minute mark.
