Meeting the Capital City Go-Go for the very first time, the Wisconsin Herd were unable to get the best of the expansion upstart as they fell to them 142-130 Friday night in Menominee Nation Arena.
Entering the night just a bit shorthanded, the Herd came out of the gate rolling as they took early control of the lead by the first stoppage in play on the night. The Go-Go promptly rose from their slow start and with the Herd doing their best to match them step for step, Capital City held a 33-27 lead after one.
It was in the second quarter when the Herd hit their stride and arguably looked their best in the young season.
