With their roster being reshaped and having a pair of assignments on hand, the new look Wisconsin Herd couldn’t seal the deal late Wednesday afternoon as they fell to Erie Bayhawks 137-132 at Menominee Nation Arena.
Fueled by their ability to get the free throw line as well as garner a number of second chance opportunities, the Herd got off to a hot start to open up the tilt against Erie. Despite the Bayhawks’ very solid start, the Herd held a 36-30 lead after one.
Erie tested the Herd’s control coming into the second quarter and briefly broke through to take the lead midway through the period.
