The Wisconsin Herd were officially swept in their four-game season series with the Grand Rapids Drive Monday night as the Herd fell to the Detroit Pistons affiliate in a 124-116 defeat at the DeltaPlex Arena.
Both teams got off to solid starts on the night, even though it was particularly ragged for some stretches. But the Drive were able to shake off their early rust first, all of which helped them take a 37-25 lead at the end of one.
Grand Rapids continued the first half onslaught of the Herd into the second quarter as it increasingly looked like things were well out of hand as the period wore on.
