The start of the Wisconsin Herd’s season ending road trek didn’t get off on the right note as they fell to the Iowa Wolves 123-116 at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.
After getting off to a sloppy start, the Herd rode an incredibly hot spell from beyond the arc, especially from Michael Qualls, to rebound and break through with their first lead of the night. That powered them all the way in taking a 36-29 advantage at the end of one.
The Herd carried their hot offense into the second quarter as their bench unit continued to supply a scoring punch, enough to give the Herd their biggest lead of the night (15) at the 8:31 mark of the period.
