A trip to the Buckeye State proved to be an unsuccessful one for the Wisconsin Herd as they fell to the Canton Charge Saturday afternoon for a 119-116 loss.
The early noon start predictably did not lead to a crisp start for both teams as they had to work hard to find their footing in the early going. Thanks to the terrific boost supplied by Milwaukee Bucks assignee Christian Wood, though, the Herd were able to shake off their early rust first and take a 33-27 lead at the end of one.
Wisconsin kept up their strong play at the beginning of the second quarter, going as far as holding their biggest lead of the day (11) at the 9:44 mark of the period.
