The Wisconsin Herd’s second half comeback came short of crossing the finish line as the Greensboro Swarm eked out a 107-105 victory Sunday afternoon at Menominee Nation Arena.
Greensboro took control of the contest early on with their offense clicking on all cylinders. Serving as a great contrast, the Herd struggled to match their firepower as the first quarter wore on as the Swarm held a 36-18 lead at the end of one.
While they found their footing offensively throughout the second quarter, the Herd struggled to slow down and make any considerable headway with their sizeable deficit throughout the period.
