Jorge Gutierrez filled the stat box in Mexico’s win over Argentina. Gutierrez had 23 points on 9-14 shooting, four rebounds, four assists and two steals in 36 minutes of action. Former Buck Gustavo Ayon led all scorers with 38 points. Argentina led by Luis Scola and Andres Nocioni had been undefeated until Mexico took them down. These two teams will meet again on Friday when they face each other in the semifinals.
