Although the Milwaukee Bucks played poorly in their preseason home opener against the Detroit Pistons, coach Jason Kidd saw the loss in a positive light.
Kidd described the game as a "good dress rehearsal" for his team, essentially the purpose and best part about preseason basketball. Preseason is great for teams to experiment with different lineups and get their players acclimated with one another.
Based on Saturday's performance, the Bucks definitely need a couple more rehearsal's, but that's a given considering the youth of their team and offseason acquisitions. It will take some time, and neither Kidd or guard Greivis Vasquez — who the Bucks acquired via trade — didn't express concern about the team eventually meshing together.
