Giannis Antetokounmpo's EuroBasket debut wasn't one for the record books, but that's OK.
Greece turned it on late to run away with an 85-65 win over the controversially-named Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, with Giannis scoring a modest 9 points (4/9 fg, 0/2 threes, 1/2 ft) to go with 2 rebounds and 2 assists in 27 minutes. While he often played a leading role in Greece's recent exhibition games, Giannis was more peripheral this time around -- two of his baskets came on baseline cuts, another a monster fastbreak dunk (see above) and his last a tip-in in the final two minutes.
