Basketball Hall of Famer Nate Thurmond, who died Saturday at 74, is generally considered one of the most dominant centers in NBA history. Thurmond (above) recorded the first quadruple-double in league history when he filled the box score for the Chicago Bulls with 22 points, 14 rebounds, 13 assists and 12 blocks against the Atlanta Hawks on Oct. 18, 1974. Here are the only other players to accomplish that feat:
Alvin Robertson, San Antonio Spurs:In 36 minutes against the Phoenix Suns on Feb. 18, 1986, Robertson had 20 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and 10 steals.
