The Brew Hoop Podcast is back, and this time we’re celebrating the Milwaukee Bucks thrilling series win over the Brooklyn Nets after pulling out a gutty Game Seven. Riley, Kyle and myself gather to break it all down and go up and down the roster to discuss what worked, what didn’t, and which Nets player we hate most. Topics include:
- Giannis Antetokounmpo elevating his game as the series went on, finding what worked and delivering with a legendary performance.
- Khris Middleton working through his struggles to keep shooting and his historic Game Six
- Celebrating the contributions of Brook Lopez, Pat Connaughton and PJ Tucker, who all delivered as role players to pull out the win
- Jrue Holiday’s continued struggles and the incredible confidence (maybe recklessness) that led to his late game heroics
- Mike Budenholzer holding onto his job by the skin of his teeth
- James Harden, Blake Griffin, and frustration with both their style of play and the fact Game Seven’s referees rewarded their antics
We don’t look forward to the next round since we’re not sure of the opponent at the time of recording, but there will be plenty of days for that.
