St. Francis — Steve Novak believes he has found the right fit.
The former Marquette University and Brown Deer star signed with his hometown Milwaukee Bucks on Monday and was in uniform for Monday night's game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Novak, 32, was traded by Oklahoma City to Denver at the deadline last week and the Nuggets bought out his contract. That allowed agent Mark Bartelstein to field offers from other teams, and the Bucks were in need of a three-point shooter off the bench.
"It's a dream come true," Novak said after the team's morning shootaround.
