Steve Novak expected to miss remainder of season with sprained MCL

The Bucks announced Sunday afternoon that Novak is expected to miss the remainder of the season due to a sprained MCL in his left knee, an injury he sustained in Saturday's 102-91 loss to the Detroit Pistons.

Detroit's Reggie Jackson collided with Novak in the fourth quarter and sent him to the floor. Novak was then carried to the locker room by teammates.

Novak said after the game that he didn't see Jackson coming.

"I didn't see where the action came from," Novak said. "I knew I got hit with something and my knee turned in the wrong way.
