Las Vegas — Becky Hammon posted the first victory by a women's head coach in the NBA Summer League on Sunday at the Thomas & Mack Center.
Hammon's San Antonio Spurs squad coasted past the Milwaukee Bucks, 89-74, led by 22 points from second-year guard Kyle Anderson.
Former Nevada-Las Vegas star Rashad Vaughn, playing on his college home court, struggled to a 4-of-16 shooting effort. The Bucks' first-round draft pick finished with 11 points, four assists and four rebounds in 31 minutes.
Bucks forward Damien Inglis moved better in his second summer league game despite a bone bruise in his right foot.
