The Milwaukee Bucks have too many point guards. I find it impossible to come up with too many ways that their case can be the exception where five point guards falls in line with any established notion of a balanced roster.
Of course, many would argue that with Jorge Gutierrez‘s contract being non-guaranteed means that the Bucks will likely enter the season with four point guards on the roster, but when you consider the four players we’re talking about that still seems excessive.
Michael Carter-Williams seems like the undisputed starter, but although there’s hope that he will improve this year, his current shooting ability means that he isn’t the most versatile otherwise.
