Short-handed Bucks squad loses finale

An undermanned Milwaukee Bucks summer league team finished its schedule with an 83-76 loss to the New York Knicks on Friday night at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

The Bucks (1-5) used just eight players in the game due to injuries that sidelined Damien Inglis, Johnny O'Bryant and Jerome Randle.

New York did not use No. 4 overall draft choice Kristaps Porzingis, the 7-foot-2 center who impressed observers during NBA Summer League play.

Giannis Antetokounmpo's older brother, Thanasis, led the Knicks with 17 points and was 7 for 7 from the field. Ricky Ledo added 15 points and Jerian Grant had 11 for New York (4-1).
