Bobby Portis’ 13 points in the first quarter were a massive spark for the Bucks. Khris Middleton aided the efforts in the opening frame with ten of his own, while Giannis chipped in with nine. All of that resulted in the Bucks getting a 42-37 lead after one.
Hot shooting for both teams continued throughout the second quarter. Trae Young led all scorers through two stanzas at 20 points. At halftime, Milwaukee held a 67-63 lead.
