Report: Bucks sign Stanley Umude to two-way deal

A couple hours after the Bucks’ first signing of the 2024 offseason was reported, they made another one, but not to the standard roster: 25-year-old wing Stanley Umude formerly of the Pistons. As relayed by The Athletic’s Eric Nehm:

Per a league source, the Milwaukee Bucks have agreed to a two-way contract with Stanley Umude.

Umude, 25, appeared in 24 games for the Pistons last season in his second season. @TheWalkPod was first to report an agreement.

Umude went undrafted out of Arkansas (where he spent his extra year of eligibility granted by COVID after four years at South Dakota) in 2022 and went to training camp for Detroit before spending almost the entire season with their G League affiliate, though he did get into one game with the big league squad in February 2023 while on a ten-day contract.
