We’re mere hours away from Thursday afternoon’s NBA trade deadline, and it appears Milwaukee Bucks’ GM Jon Horst has made another move, albeit a minor one. Per ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Bucks are sending Milwaukee native and former UWM Panther Patrick Baldwin Jr. and cash to the San Antonio Spurs:
This deal appears to be more from a financial and roster space perspective for the Bucks rather than one that merits immediate on-the-court results. As per our own Van Fayaz:
If you’re wondering who might fill the open spot, look no further than one Ryan Rollins, whose level of play has earned a roster spot and has only nine games of regular-season eligibility remaining on his two-way contract (not to mention no games of playoff eligibility).
