Despite landing awkwardly last game, Giannis Antetokounmpo cared not for preseason injury hazards and decimated a Dallas Mavericks team in barely any time at all during a 118-111 victory for the Milwaukee Bucks. It started with a modest 31-24 lead for Milwaukee, with a more even second quarter that resulted in a 61-55 advantage for the Bucks. As has been the case all preseason, the third quarter showed Milwaukee’s depth was superior, ballooning to a 99-82 lead. Then, Boban happened. Well, Boban also partially happened against Luke Maye, which is never a recipe for success, but it turned the fourth quarter into a slaughterhouse for the Mavericks as they roundly outscored the Bucks.
