On the eve of Thanksgiving, the Milwaukee Bucks faced off with the Boston Celtics for the first time in the 2023-24 regular season. Despite a late offensive surge, the Celtics were able to escape with a 119-116 victory.

The Bucks came out flat, and quickly found themselves down 10-0. Malik Beasley and Brook Lopez had early buckets to help Milwaukee find its footing, but the Celtics held a 29-17 advantage after one. Through the second quarter, the teams traded baskets. Milwaukee had it within 10, but a flurry of buckets spearheaded by Kristaps Porzingis helped Boston take a comfortable 67-53 lead into the half.
