Police, jewelry store explain what happened with John Henson

Milwaukee Bucks forward John Henson went on social media to post about a concerning incident that took place at a jewelry store where he was attempting to shop on Monday.

Henson says he went to the Schwanke-Kasten Jewelers store in Milwaukee but was denied service. The former North Carolina star believed he was the victim of racial profiling and slammed the store for the way he was treated.

Now we’re getting the other side of the story from the store and police.

The store owner said in a statement Monday that they were concerned because Henson’s car — a red Chevy Tahoe — matched the one used by some subjects in a suspicious incident on Friday.
