A disappointing season came to an inglorious end for the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night as they lost, 97-92, to an Indiana Pacers team resting its starters for the playoffs.
As they met with reporters before the season finale at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, primary owners Wes Edens, Marc Lasry and Jamie Dinan did not try to sugarcoat a 33-49 record.
But they were bullish on the future, after completing a lease agreement that will allow construction of the team's downtown arena to begin, with a June 18 date scheduled for a groundbreaking ceremony.
