It really, truly, seriously, unironically doesn’t even matter one bit that the Milwaukee Bucks went 0-5 in 2024’s Summer League. Unlike past editions, all teams played the same number of games regardless of results, so the team didn’t miss out on a few more reps. A cynical reading of the experience would call into question the sophistication of the organization’s lower-stakes talent evaluators, but we kinda knew that already. That and assistant coach Pete Dominguez doesn’t have the chops (yet) to whip together functional schemes in a few days for a roster with a single player with real interior size.
