Jared Cunningham has spent his professional career yo-yoing between the NBA and the NBA Development League. The 6-foot-4, fourth-year shooting guard was assigned to and recalled from the D-League six times in his first two seasons in addition to playing for two more D-League teams last year.
On Tuesday he felt the tug of the string again, this time pulling him from Idaho to Milwaukee where he signed a 10-day contract beginning on Wednesday.
"They called me and I got right on a flight and got in around 2:30 a.m.," Cunningham said on Wednesday morning at the Bucks' training facility.
