Thanks to an otherworldly performance from reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Milwaukee Bucks notched their eighth straight victory Monday night by coming back to defeat the Utah Jazz in a 122-118 win.
It was far from a perfect start for both teams as the Bucks battled through misses while the Jazz endured some early sloppiness of their own. It led to a shaky first quarter for all involved and it resulted in Utah holding a 25-23 edge at the end of one.
The Jazz continued to reinforce their control and took full advantage of the Bucks’ shooting woes, eventually holding their biggest lead of the night (13) at the 3:26 mark in the second quarter.
