It was certainly too close for comfort at times and especially late, but the Milwaukee Bucks maintained their undefeated streak this preseason by prevailing over the Dallas Mavericks in a 118-111 win Friday night at the American Airlines Center.
Despite Giannis Antetokounmpo getting off to a quick start, the Bucks were searching for their rhythm early on as the Mavericks had no problem letting it fly from deep to mixed results. It wasn’t until a late run from the Bucks’ bench mob where they found their way that they held a 31-24 edge at end of the first period.
