The Milwaukee Bucks have been the ultimate picture of consistency this season, to such an extreme that it felt like something of a letdown performance was probably due, even if there was a chance that it may never actually materialize.
If ever there was a recipe for such a performance, Wednesday’s clash with the Pacers certainly had it: Final game before the All-Star break, on the road against a team that seemed overdue to break out of their own strange losing streak, and with the Bucks’ missing their star and a couple of key role players.
Having said that, what the Bucks proved in falling to a defeat against the Pacers is that even their worst nights seem to come with the kind of strong bursts and sense of ongoing belief that most other teams around the NBA could only dream of.
