Milwaukee Bucks: Takeaways from 115-108 preseason win over Washington Wizards

The Milwaukee Bucks are just one game away from a perfect preseason after they clawed their way past the Washington Wizards with a 115-108 win Sunday night at Capital One Arena.

With reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo sidelined due to illness, Khris Middleton took up the mantle of leading the Bucks’ offense early on as he and they got off to a quick start. That didn’t hold throughout the first quarter and after Washington shook off their early rust, the Bucks held a 27-26 edge at the end of one.

Milwaukee’s offense was completely clogged for the start of the second quarter and the Wizards fully capitalized on their struggles by holding their biggest lead of the night (7) at multiple points in the period.
