Taking part in the NBA’s MLK Day slate, the Milwaukee Bucks put the finishing touches on their season sweep over the Chicago Bulls in a 111-98 victory Monday evening at Fiserv Forum.
Both teams were out of sync once play got underway on the afternoon and fought through some sloppy play early on. It was the Bucks, though, that were able to find some stability as the first quarter went along and they held a 30-23 edge through one.
To their credit, the Bulls continued to hang around and with some timely 3-point shooting as well as capitalizing on the Bucks’ multiple turnovers at that point in the game, they closed the gap to make it a 53-52 game heading into halftime.
