When commissioner Silver approached the podium holding the Milwaukee Bucks’ decision during the 2014 NBA Draft, everyone already knew who the pick would be. The Bucks did not disappoint, selecting Jabari Parker, the 6’8″ forward from Duke.
Jabari showed extreme promise during his freshman season with the Blue Devils, averaging 19 points and eight rebounds per game. He was the obvious selection with the second pick and if it weren’t for an alleged “tanked” work-out he may have went No.1 overall.
Jabari showed promise at the beginning of his rookie season, starting in his first 25 games, averaging 15 points per 36 minutes with a 49 percent field goal percentage.
