Milwaukee Bucks: Recent history with Boston Celtics

After an eventful final night of the season on Wednesday, the Milwaukee Bucks were locked into a first round series with the second placed Boston Celtics.

The Celtics finished the regular season with 55 wins and the NBA’s best defense, yet for many there’s cause for doubt about how they’ll perform in the playoffs.

The primary reason for that is the absences of Kyrie Irving, Marcus Smart, Daniel Theis and, of course, Gordon Hayward through injury.

Although that will certainly act as cause for encouragement for the Bucks, the Celtics’ season was very much built on being solid collectively as a team, and even without Irving, they’ve managed to hold up surprisingly well.
