With Summer League officially wrapped up, it will be late September/early October before a Milwaukee Bucks team takes to the court again for competitive action.
Of course, that gap is nothing new for NBA fans who are used to being made to wait for more basketball at this time of year, but this time around there’s a notable exception coming to fill that void.
Approximately six weeks from now, the best international teams from across the world will travel to China to participate in the 2019 FIBA World Cup.
Among that group, there’s plenty of room for Bucks’ interest too, which adds a flavor that hasn’t always factored into the elite international tournaments for Milwaukee fans.
