It was by no means a pretty win but nonetheless, the Milwaukee Bucks took care of business at home on Wednesday night, dispatching the Detroit Pistons 115-92, in a practical wire-to-wire victory.
The Bucks were without Khris Middleton (personal reasons), their second-best player and Ersan Ilyasova, their regular sixth man. But it didn’t seem to matter much as the Bucks built a double-digit lead against the Pistons early and stretched it to over 20 points in the third quarter, from where Detroit never truly threatened again.
It’s a solid win against a team that will probably be in the playoffs come April, although no one would mistake Detroit for playing their best game.
