The Milwaukee Bucks, like every NBA team, will soon announce their jersey sponsor for the 2017-18 NBA season. Small patches with the sponsor logo will adorn NBA jerseys for the first time ever this year, earning the teams involved a nice chunk of change.
In an appearance on FOX Business Network, Peter Feigin told Liz Claman that teams could expect to make somewhere between $2.5 million and $6 million annually from the patches, which will be on the upper right portion of the jersey when looking directly at them.
That may be the fun part to the Bucks business side of things, but fans of the team are clamoring to find out who is going to grace the front of Milwaukee’s jerseys more so than how much the brand is going to pay for the honor of doing so.
