That sound you’re hearing is a collective sigh of relief from all Milwaukee Bucks fans around the state of the Wisconsin and all throughout the world.
The Bucks released a statement Sunday afternoon regarding the status of superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, who will miss at least the following two games due to a minor joint capsule sprain in his left knee.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Saturday afternoon that Antetokounmpo would undergo a precautionary MRI after suffering the injury midway through the fourth quarter of the Bucks’ loss to the Los Angeles Lakers Friday night.
Antetokounmpo stuck it out in what remained of the game from that point on, but it was reported that the reigning MVP was walking with a limp and had a black wrap around his left knee following the game.
