For the first two decades of their existence, the Milwaukee Bucks were the model franchise that primarily stood as a pillar of success.
By the turn of the 1990s, however, the Bucks’ identity and standing near the top of the Eastern Conference was severely shaken. No longer were there core stars such as Sidney Moncrief, Terry Cummings and Paul Pressey that had been constants in their run the previous decade.
Instead, the Bucks entered the 90s in search of some hope for the future, with time having finally caught up on them. It turns out that was much easier said than done.
