The Milwaukee Bucks made quite the splash immediately after the trade deadline with the addition of veteran forward Marvin Williams following his buyout from the Charlotte Hornets.
The 15-year veteran brings a level of savvy and experience to a Bucks team that is increasingly well equipped to bounce back from last year’s Conference Finals collapse. And with a complementary skill set to boot that fits in with the Bucks’ ethos, Williams makes a deep Bucks team that much deeper from that standpoint.
And while Williams has yet to make his debut after officially joining the squad Monday night, the 33-year-old made it clear he’s happy with any role he’ll have with the league’s best team as Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel relayed:
“Guys are not going to have to adjust to playing with me,” he said.
