There’s a certain kind of fire to this series, and I’m not sure it’s something that people truly expected when the Milwaukee Bucks and Chicago Bulls were matched up against each other in Round 1 of the NBA Playoffs.
Maybe it’s the local rivalry, or maybe familiarity is breeding a mutual disdain between these two teams, but whichever is the answer it has made for a knife-edge tension at times during the series that has made it tough to look away.
With the Bucks being a young and inexperienced team with almost zero Playoff experience, nobody would really have expected them to thrive in a series with a darker undertone, but that seems to be exactly what has happened.
