Last season was a big year for the Sacramento Kings, as one of the NBA’s most frequently misfiring franchises finally offered a clear sense of their changing status to one of the league’s true up-and-comers.
Head coach Dave Joerger deserves a lot of credit for shaping the franchise’s reinvigoration with an uptempo brand of basketball that makes the Kings one of the NBA’s most electric offensive teams on any given night.
Vlade Divac also deserves his fair share of kudos for drafting well over the past couple of seasons, and largely putting a strange and dysfunctional start to his reign as general manager in the rear view mirror.
