Although the Milwaukee Bucks were originally picking at #48 overall, they were able to trade up and snag the #46 overall pick from the Philadelphia 76ers. With the pick, the team used it on the SMU shooting guard Sterling Brown.
The pick of Brown marked the second selection of an SMU Mustang in the draft, the first being forward Semi Ojeleye. Brown is known as a standout shooter who is long enough to defend well in the NBA. For the Bucks, he should provide another shooter off the bench, which is something the team definitely needs.
