It’s possible that many Milwaukee Bucks may not have known who Isaiah Canaan was prior to 6 p.m. CT on Monday evening, when his signing was officially announced on the team’s website.
Three-and-a-half hours later, Canaan was celebrating a win against the Bulls with his new teammates, and an impressive debut of his own in the process.
In spite of having no chance to practice, and minimal time to even touch base with coaches and teammates on how the team plays, Canaan logged 12 minutes off the bench and chipped in with six points (on a perfect 2-of-2 shooting from the field and three-point range), two assists and a rebound.
