George Hill may be known for his leadership on the Milwaukee Bucks, but it’s certainly extended off the court throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
As Jeff Garcia of WOAI San Antonio reported on Sunday afternoon, Hill opened a $1,000 tab at a local pizzeria, Fralo’s, that is designed for essential workers to pick up a free pizza.
This latest act follows Hill giving free meals for workers at Baptist Health System last month a couple of weeks after the season was suspended and players were able to return to their homes.
And Hill as well as the entire Bucks roster made donations to take care of Fiserv Forum workers that were suddenly out of jobs with the season stoppage and all donations were matched by the Bucks organization itself last month.
