As the coronavirus crisis continues to disrupt the NBA season, and everyday life across the world beyond that, the Milwaukee Bucks officially announced details of their Emergency Relief Fund on Friday.
Building on the original pledges made by the ownership, which included the intention to match the generous donations that were ultimately made by every single member of the Bucks’ squad, the fund will serve the organization’s part-time employees who require financial assistance due to their loss of work at this time.
In a statement released on the team website, it was confirmed that even beyond Fiserv Forum staff who were the focus of much of the original discussion about the need for the Bucks to step in, the fund will also apply to part-time workers related to various other arms of the organization, such as the Wisconsin Herd, and the game day experience.
