The focus of Milwaukee Bucks fans may be looking ahead to Saturday night and a chance to extend the lead at the top of the conference over the Toronto Raptors, but there’s no such luxury for the team’s players and coaches.
The Bucks move into the back half of their current six-game home stand, their joint longest of the season, by matching up with the Atlanta Hawks for the first time this season on Friday night.
Of course, the game takes on a little more meaning than a Bucks game against one of the Eastern Conference’s less competitive teams generally would, as it marks the first time Mike Budenholzer will coach against his former team since his five-season tenure in Georgia came to an end.
